A Meta ad coupon represents a means of payment for Facebook Ads. Learn more about coupons: https://www.facebook.com/business/help/131439120265224
You can request a coupon from an agent in the following cases:
- If you are dissatisfied with an ad product. Say you have launched an ad campaign with Engagement Objective to receive messages in Facebook Messenger, Instagram Direct, or WhatsApp. According to the metric in the ad cabinet, you must receive ten messages, but in fact, you have not received any messages at all.
- If developers introduce system upgrades or test new ad products. Ad account updates may affect your ad campaign. The ad delivery may drop together with the performance of your ad campaign. Submit a ticket to customer support service describing all the details.
Here’s what it might look like: “I launched an ad campaign today, ID 465758. When I log into the ad cabinet, I don’t see the ‘Detailed Targeting’ option in the settings of the ad campaign but I created an ad campaign with detailed targeting. I also noticed that my ad campaign delivery got worse due to this change in the ad account. I ask you to check it and provide me with a coupon to reimburse the funds lost due to this ad cabinet update. I was not notified in advance thus the performance of my ads degraded. Please provide me with a $100 coupon”
- If you encountered a system bug. In this case, you can obtain the coupon once the bug is confirmed by the technical department.
Create a ticket and provide a screen record of the steps you take and the error that occurs in the end (the video must be in English).
Inform the customer support agent at once that you have already cleaned the cache and cookies, and tried another browser/device/Wi-Fi spot/incognito mode but it didn’t help. The technical department will duplicate your steps; if the error is confirmed, then you’ll receive the coupon.
