Let’s start with the nutra vertical which is the most interesting and challenging to find relevant source content.
Go to TikTok and type in the search queries like ‘hair loss’ or ‘hair issues’. I recommend typing queries in English as there are more options in the dropout. Now you can watch videos in the dropout.
At the beginning of the video, the girl demonstrates her issue, elaborates on her problem, and puts on a wig at the end. You can improve it and make the following creative: at the beginning, the girl demonstrates her issue, followed by the miraculous remedy you promote against the background portraying the girl in the wig stating that the remedy was a big help to her.
The rule of thumb when searching for creative source content is to dig deeper. That is, once you find an interesting video, go to your account, search for relevant hashtags, and you will find a lot more material than if you’ll just scroll through the feed.
For example, there’s a video with the same girl that we considered above: on her account, she demonstrates how she is losing weight – here’s some more source content for you. What if I don’t need a source of content about weight loss at the moment? You still might want to bookmark her account so that you can use the source video related to weight loss later.
Follow hashtags and you’ll find another girl who does her hair. You can use a video where she sprays hairspray on her hair and make a creative with it. Like when a miracle remedy is sprayed on the hair, they become stronger and healthier.
Let’s have a look at another case: suppose you have to make a creative about weight loss pills. Type in such search queries in TikTok as ‘lost weight’, or ‘weight loss before and after’.
In the dropout, you will find a million videos where girls demonstrate the result of their efforts. Open any of the videos and view the girls before and after. If you ask me, you might want to look for videos where girls have not lost weight completely, since these cases look more realistic.
Once you find an interesting person, follow the link to their profile or relevant hashtags and you will also discover a lot of useful featured material. In some of these videos, they demonstrate how they weigh themselves on the scales. Important: keep in mind the differences in measurement units.
As I mentioned earlier, you might want to write down profile references in a notebook or wherever it is more convenient for you, so that it will be easier to find source content later.
Let’s consider a skin ointment offer now. Type in such search queries as ‘skin problem’ or ‘acnefighter’. You will see a bunch of videos of people with problematic skin. You might also want to watch videos and write down any interesting sources you found.
You can also opt for the search query ‘acne before and after’. Follow the profile link once you viewed the video. In the profile, she might have playlists where she talks about her problem, thus you can find a lot of content for your creatives.
Don’t worry about watermarks since you can remove them with no problem. There are many services on the web or Telegram bots that allow you to download videos without watermarks.
TikTok Creative Center
Have you found everything you need on TikTok? Go to TikTok Creative Center then. For example, type in the ‘acne’ query (it’s an ongoing inflammatory skin disease), open any video you like, and then you can view the keywords for this video. Yes, sometimes the full video won’t work but you still might use even a couple of frames for your creative. Here’s a guide to downloading videos from TikTok Creative Center.
Just as before, type in such queries as ‘hair loss’, ‘skin issues’, and ‘potency’ and look for a product with the largest number of reviews. Open the product page and browse the reviews. Find examples of the source files below.
In the same way, you can use such marketplaces as Ozon, AliExpress, Yandex Market, etc.
There are a lot of source videos on this platform that you won’t find in TikTok where they commonly demonstrate before and after results while two out of ten videos demonstrate the actual progress. However, there’s an option to combine source videos. For example, find the ‘before and after’ video in TikTok where the girl demonstrates how the joint remedy helped her, and on Envato Elements, you can find the video where the girl smears the joints with cream, which when combined will make an excellent creative.
YouTube represents a big dump of source content. Type in any search query, find a relevant video, download it, and cut the required frames. Think more and dig deeper. View Shorts as you can find a lot of source content there. If you come across channels created by webmasters who work with freemium traffic, don’t hesitate to follow them. Most likely you will find a lot of content on their channels since these guys know where to get the source videos and they monetize Shorts as well. They commonly upload Shorts once per day but some might upload ten Shorts per day. Here’s one of these channels: https://www.youtube.com/@Animememes1/shorts
On Instagram, you can look for people who promote their weight loss training or doctors who study acne issues. I’m sure they might have some content you can use in your creatives.
Next, let’s consider dating. I’ll be brief because this vertical is the easiest to search for source content.
Search for photos and videos on VK, for example, in Dating Moscow 18+ Community. Scroll through the posts and use a photo you like in your creative.
Search for all sorts of p*rn communities with Only Fans or cuckold content (such communities exist, I’m not joking). Sometimes we use source content from this channel: https://t.me/CCumpot
You can also search for relevant content on the marketplaces with such queries as ‘lace panties’, ‘thong panties’, etc. You can find something really good this way.
Hereby, you learned how to search for source content for nutra and dating offers. The best advice I can give you when you search for source content is to think out of the box, dig deeper, look for the source content repository you like best, and bookmark your findings.
