We’ve contacted Facebook tech support and got advice on how to reduce the possibility of receiving Policy issues. Interestingly, the employee took the initiative and gave advice with a focus on arbitrageurs.
11 tips from tech support
- It is not recommended to publish many ads at a time.
- About managing the number of ads: https://www.facebook.com/business/help/2720085414702598
- Publishing highlights:
- Combine ads into groups.
- Do not create more than 6 ads in a group.
- When testing multiple creative options, use dynamic creative.
- Turn off ads that don’t yield results.
- Try to avoid exceeding your usual advertising budget, and do not make abrupt changes in advertising campaigns.
- Advertising should not cause psychological harm to certain groups of users by religion, political beliefs, race, or other characteristics.
- It is not recommended to mislead users about your product, goods, or services. That is, promise quick results. You shouldn’t give unrealistic, unprovable information about a product.
- Avoid using “negative” words such as diet, weight loss, depression, anxiety, worry, stress, fear, shock, fright, etc. Use positive language instead. Focus on how you want people to feel after using your product. For example, instead of “Lose 10 pounds this summer!” try “Feel light, be fit already this summer. Join my free fitness class!”
- If Facebook regularly rejects your ads and you do not dispute it, this may result in account deactivation; therefore, always submit ads that you are sure do not violate Facebook Policies and Rules for rechecking.
- Remove any rejected ads, and do not allow them to be in your Advertising Account.
- We recommend that you do not publish ads for different types of businesses from the same Advertising Account, even if the topic is very similar, for example, you used to advertise a fitness studio and now you want to promote fitness equipment.
- Make sure that the advertised site, if any, is accessible and filled with correct data that comply with Meta’s rules.
- Make sure you don’t have content that could be seen as ambiguous. You should not have any questionable or suspicious posts.
- If your Ad Account is brand new and you haven’t launched any ad campaigns yet, we don’t recommend launching ad campaigns with the goal of “Lead Generation” right away. Let your Ad Account first earn the platform’s trust: use simpler goals such as “Traffic” for the first few campaigns.
Recommendation on Fan Page
Regarding Fan Page the following recommendation was received: “Try not to forget that the Page should also have posts, it should be clear to the system where the advertisement leads and what it is a sphere”.
