Sora 2 is an updated video generator from OpenAI that creates longer and more stable videos with realistic physics, consistent characters, style support, and synchronised sound. It is ideal for creating and editing arbitrage creatives for various verticals, especially igaming.
Unlike Google’s Veo 3, Sora 2 follows prompts better, has better physics, and better sound.

An OpenAI account i.e. from ChatGPT is used for authorisation. To access the neural network, you must use a US or Canadian IP address. They promise to expand the list of available countries later.
Sora 2 app download
OpenAI has also released Sora 2 as an iOS app, which has more functionality and is similar to TikTok, but only with AI-generated videos. With the Sora app on iOS, you can create videos, make remixes, and insert cameos, i.e. yourself into the scene.
The app is currently available in the App Store in the United States and Canada:
How to install Sora 2 app in unsupported country
To install the Sora 2 app from an unsupported country, you need to change your region to the United States.
- Open the App Store
- Go to your account settings
- Tap on your region
- Select ‘None’ as your payment method and enter any US address and phone number
- Tap ‘Done’
For the first authorisation in the app, you must use a US IP address. After that, the app will work with any IP address.
Sora 2 model in third-party neural network aggregators
OpenAI also released the Sora 2 API, after which it began to appear in third-party services as a video generation model.
For example, on the website https://higgsfield.ai/create/video, Sora 2 is available for free for one week for users with a paid subscription while the promotion is valid. You can generate an unlimited number of videos without spending credits from your balance.
In addition, third-party services offer watermark-free generation in higher quality and with a duration of up to 12 seconds. Higgsfield.ai has a separate Sora 2 Pro model, which is not available on the OpenAI website, allowing you to generate videos with a resolution of up to 1080p.
Working with Sora 2
Registration
- Go to the Sora website:
- Click Login
- You can log in with your existing ChatGPT account or register a new one
- For a new account, set a username:
- Next, click ‘Enter invite code’
- Enter the Sora 2 invite code, we’ve explained earlier how to get it.
- Done.
The main page displays a feed of other users’ videos. You can also see which prompts they’ve used.
Video generation
You can start generating directly from the main page, but we recommend going to the ‘Drafts’ page: https://sora.chatgpt.com/drafts, as this is where the generation results will be available.
To generate, simply type a prompt. Unlike Veo 3, you can do this in Russian.

Two orientation options (aspect ratios) are available: 9:16 and 16:9.
The output is videos with a resolution of 704 × 1280 and 1280 × 704.

Use available cameos and your image in Sora 2
In the Sora 2 neural network, you can use publicly available images (cameos) in your videos. To do this, either click on the image or paste its nickname into the prompt:
We also see the ‘Add yours’ function here, which allows you to upload your image to the system and generate videos with yourself. However, it does not work in the web version:
The Cameo feature in Sora 2 is only available in the iOS app. This is due to protection against the use of other people’s images.
- To add yourself to Sora 2, launch the iOS app
- Go to the video creation section
- Tap ‘Add yours’
- Tap Start and follow the instructions
The app will ask you to say 3 random numbers and turn your head in a random direction
The video will then be sent for processing. Wait for it to finish and you will be able to use your image in the video.
Creating remixes in Sora 2
In the app, you can remix other users’ videos by tapping the ‘Remix’ button on their video and entering your prompt.

- To download the generated video, open the video.
- In the upper right corner, click on the three dots.
- Click ‘Download.’
However, videos that feature cameos of other people do not have a ‘Download’ button. They can be downloaded using standard browser tools:

Bypassing content violation restrictions
Sora 2 has protection against generating explicit content, violence, etc. It is not possible to completely bypass this, but in some cases, it helps to send the same prompt multiple times until it generates a video:
Download Sora 2 videos without watermark
By default, generated videos are watermarked with the Sora 2 logo, even with a paid ChatGPT subscription. But there are several ways to get around this.
Using the website https://nosorawm.app, you can download videos directly from the server without watermarks. Without registration, the limit is 2 videos per day.
- Go to the website https://nosorawm.app
- Copy the public link to your video (to do this, you will need to publish the generated video on your Sora 2 profile)
- Paste the link into the special field in the service and click ‘Remove watermark now’
- Download your video.

- Upload your video and click Generate
- Wait for the process to complete and download the video without watermarks
We’ve tested this service and got impressive results — the Sora 2 watermark was removed from the video without leaving a trace or artefacts.
The only limitation is ‘100 credits per 10 seconds. Max 30-second video’, but this can be solved by creating a new account.
