A way to run an ad on another successful Facebook Ads post, while saving reactions and comments. Let’s see which cases it is used in and how to set it up.
Ways of use
- Scaling a bundle by running multiple ad accounts on a converting post.

- Run by age and placements on one post.
- Run on a single post across different GEOs, when the language matches. Since the link can’t be changed you can’t configure streams at the tracker level.

- Run on publication if the account has been banned – allows you to continue driving traffic to the ad publication from a new account after the ban of the old one, if it has not been deleted.
Post ID preparation
To run an ad you will need the Post ID of the publication and access of the advertising account to its Fan Page.
ID is assigned to each publication created on the Fan Page or in Ads Manager. Let’s consider several ways to find it.
Method №1.
- Open the section with ads in Ads Manager. Select an ad and click Preview.
- Click on the arrow in the top right corner of the pop-up window and select Facebook Post with Comments.
In the new tab that opens, in the URL there will be the Post ID after post/, copy it.
This method may not always work and the numbers in the URL will be incorrect.
Method №2
- Go to https://business.facebook.com/content_management/ADS_POSTS to the Ad posts section if the Fan Page is added to BM.
- Select the desired BM and Fan Page.
- Find the desired post, copy the Post ID in the ID column.
