New AI-powered tools for analyzing and optimizing ads have started appearing in some Facebook Ads accounts.
At the campaign level, a new “Optimize budget” button has appeared, at the ad set level – “Analyze audience engagement”, and at the ad level – “Analyze creative engagement”.
Judging by the names, “Optimize budget” will help optimize the campaign budget or suggest recommendations for changing it. “Analyze audience engagement” may be used to analyze engagement and select audiences, while “Analyze creative engagement” is for evaluating and identifying ad creatives that perform better with the chosen audience.
The exact capabilities of these tools are not yet known. In some accounts the buttons are already showing up, but clicking them may not open anything.
The update is not available to everyone. Meta has not yet officially announced the launch of the new AI tools.
