Meta has begun allowing some advertisers to top up their Facebook Ads accounts using the USDC stablecoin. For now, the feature is only available in select countries, though the company has not disclosed the full list.
The new funding method works for ad accounts with a prepaid “Available funds” balance. To use it, advertisers need to go to payment settings, select balance top-up, and choose “Stablecoin wallet” as the payment method.

After that, the advertiser connects a crypto wallet and transfers USDC to a third-party payment partner. The partner converts the stablecoin into US dollars or the local currency and sends the funds to Meta, after which they’re credited to the ad account balance.

Meta does not directly accept, hold, or process stablecoins. USDC is used only to transfer funds to the payment partner, while the ad account balance is displayed in Ads Manager in dollars or the local currency.
When topping up a dollar-denominated balance, the system shows the equivalent amount in USDC at a 1:1 ratio. For accounts in other currencies, the amount is converted at the current exchange rate.
On mobile, clicking the payment link automatically opens the installed crypto wallet with the address and amount already filled in. On desktop, users can scan a QR code or manually copy the wallet address.
Meta does not charge a fee for topping up via USDC. However, additional fees may be charged by crypto wallets, exchanges, blockchain networks, and other third-party services.
Once the transaction is confirmed, funds may be credited to the ad balance within a few minutes. Payment information will appear in the “Payment activity” section.
Crypto transfers cannot be reversed. If funds are sent to the wrong address or through an unsupported network, they cannot be recovered. Before confirming a payment, Meta recommends double-checking the wallet address, amount, and selected network.
Refunds of unused ad balance are also not sent back to a crypto wallet. Under Meta’s standard rules, they are issued in the form of ad credits.
Any USDC-compatible wallet that supports the payment partner can be used. Officially named examples include MetaMask, Coinbase Wallet, Binance, Bybit, Phantom, and Bitso.
