Meta is rolling out the Your Algorithm feature on Facebook, allowing you to customize recommendations in Feed and Reels using AI. You can now explain to the algorithm in plain text what content you want to see more often and what you want to see less often.
Facebook has added a dedicated Your Algorithm section for this purpose, which you can open through the three-dot menu on posts. There, you can add topics you are interested in and manage them, while the algorithm will take changes into account almost immediately as you browse the Feed.

Facebook has also expanded the capabilities of the “Interested” and “Not Interested” buttons. After you click them, Facebook can now ask additional questions to better understand why you liked or disliked a post. You can answer in your own words.

Facebook uses large language models (LLMs) to process such requests. They factor in users’ preferences alongside the algorithm’s usual signals: likes, comments, and content views.
A similar feature appeared on Instagram back in December 2025. Users first gained the ability to customize recommendations in Reels, then in Explore, and in the main Feed in June 2026.
