AdsPower – proxies, RPA, reviews, prices, and review on antidetect browser

Review of AdsPower antidetect browser: advantages, disadvantages, functionality for affiliate marketing, E-commerce, betting, crypto, and other spheres.

Website: https://www.adspower.com/

AdsPower antidetect browser

AdsPower is an antidetect browser for multi-accounting that has been known since 2019.

The main functionality of AdsPower:

  • Spoofing of real browser footprints;
  • Automation of routine tasks using local API and RPA’s multi-functional cookie robot;
  • Emulation of iOS and Android mobile devices ( antidetect browsers rarely have this function, however Gologin has it);
  • Teamwork with the distribution of roles and authorities.

Information for beginners – why and for what purposes you need an antidetect browser: https://cpa.rip/en/articles/why-do-you-need-anti-detection-browser/.

AdsPower tariff plans

AdsPower has a free tariff plan for 5 browser profiles. Monthly and annual subscriptions are available. In the second case, the cost will be 20% cheaper.

When signing up via this link: https://rip.af/gmdR153d the CPARIP promo code gives a 20% discount on the first subscription payment.

Features available in all tariff plans:

  • Browser fingerprint control;
  • Synchronization of profiles between PCs;
  • Import of accounts via login/password or cookies;
  • Extension list access;
  • Integration with HTTP(S), SOCKS5, SSH;
  • Simulation of iOS, and Android (there are nuances, we will consider them below);
  • Extensions download;
  • RPA robot (the first 5000 points are free).

For the teams that need more than 100,000 profiles, the Custom plan is available. You need to clarify the payment terms with the technical support team.

AdsPower’s low price is an advantage that attracts users. You can get access to the main functions of the antidetect browser for $9 per month ($7.20 with an annual subscription). But there are nuances.

For $9 at the Base plan you have 10 browser profiles. When you choose 100, the price immediately rises to 29 USD, which corresponds to the average price on the market.

Here is a rough list of additional payments on AdsPower:

  • RPA robot – you need a minimum of 5000 points, which costs 10 USD (with the basic cookie walker robot costing 10 points per use, and in some services it’s free);
  • FB Auto – from $0.03/time;
  • profile storage in the cloud – at once 1000 USD.

And let’s not forget that there are also limits – the number of times you can open a profile per day or import it. This value applies to the entire team. If you exceed the limits, the work stops. You have to wait for the end of the day.

Perhaps for individual affiliates and marketers, this will be an additional motivation to switch from Base to Pro.

In the Base version:

  • Opening limit per day = Number of profiles in your tariff plan * 500
  • Import limit per day = Number of profiles in your tariff plan * 10

In the Pro version:

  • Opening limit per day = Number of profiles in your tariff plan * 1000
  • Import limit per day = Number of profiles in your tariff plan * 30

For example, if you have a Base tariff plan for 10 profiles, you can open them no more than 5000 times per day.

In general, it turns out that the low price of the antidetect browser is because you have to pay for additional features and services.

How to use the AdsPower antidetect browser for free

In addition to the free version (free forever) with a limit on the number of profiles, there is a trial period.

It allows you to get access to the Base or Pro features on AdsPower for free for 3 days. To do this, you need to choose a suitable tariff plan in your account, check its settings and click “Trial”. After its activation, you can go to the “Payments” menu (in the lower left corner) to see the details.

It is important to take into account the following point: in the trial by default, there is +1 user, because of which the cost of the minimum monthly payment becomes 14 USD instead of 9 USD.

Therefore, before paying the full tariff plan, change it by removing an additional user.

To buy a tariff plan for a month, 3 months, 6 months, or a year, you need to click “Extend” and select a payment system. If you need to switch from Base to Pro or vice versa, you need to go to “Payments” and click “Change plan”.

To save on the plans of the AdsPower antidetect browser, you can use the so-called “energy points” – the internal currency. They can be exchanged for discounts, packages of RPA points, additional profiles, etc.

  • ETH;
  • USD Coin;
  • AliPay;
  • WeChatPay;
  • SberPay;
  • Tinkoff;
  • Kiwi;
  • Umoney, as well as many others.

When you sign up following this link: https://rip.af/gmdR153d the CPARIP promo code gives you a 20% discount on your first purchase.

How to download and install AdsPower

On the website under the “Download” tab, the AdsPower antidetect browser is available for download for the following operating systems:

  • Windows 10 / 11;
  • MacOS 10.15+;
  • Linux 20.22+ (beta).

It should be said that MacOS users are still waiting for the synchronizer to appear (now it only works on Windows). The synchronizer allows you to do the action in one profile, and it automatically applies to other profiles.

The download page lists the following minimum specs “compatible with Windows 7 and later (with a minimum dual-core processor, 2GB RAM and 2GB free disk space), macOS 10.13 (EI Capitan) and later, and Linux (Ubuntu 22.04) and later”. This data is not entirely reliable. Chromium 119 will not work on Windows 7. It is better to upgrade to the versions listed in the list above (Windows 10/11 etc).

There is also a short description of the update release and a “Download previous version” tab here. This can be useful to get the previous more stable version of antidetect (but there are nuances with Chromium). After clicking on the download button, the download starts.

So, start the installed antidetect browser. A window for logging in (if you have an account) will appear. If you haven’t worked with the antidetect browser then the signing up window will appear.

To create an account you need to fill in the following data:

  • Email address;
  • Verification code;
  • Password;
  • AdsPower referral code – use promo code CPARIP.

It is possible to register via VK or Google. In this case, signing up on AdsPower to a disposable email is allowed. If you click on the “i” icon in the email field, you will be warned that registrations via disposable emails are accepted, but if you lose access, the team will not be able to help you restore it.

What’s inside the AdsPower antidetect browser Features, settings, interface overview

The first time you run the antidetect browser it displays hints for beginners. Messages like: “Click here to create your first browser account” etc. will help beginners to quickly learn AdsPower functions and create their first accounts.

Let’s look at the main functions located in the left column.

“Accounts” – create, customize, open/close, search, edit, move, and share browser profiles.

“Groups” – classify and filter profiles, group access, archive and delete, restore from the recycle bin.

“Recycle bin” – the ability to return browser accounts within 7 days after deletion. All settings and configurations (login information, proxies, fingerprints) will be saved. The recycle bin is not available for all tariff plans.

“Proxies” – adding, filtering, checking, deleting. Antidetect browser supports HTTP/HTTPS, socks5, or ssh. On AdsPower you can work with IPv4 and IPv6 proxies.

“Extensions” (now only works for SunBrowser) – download via zip file or web shop link, delete, update, create, and apply categories. The “Recommended for you” tab contains a list of popular extensions. Please note that extensions weighing more than 30 MB will not be synchronized between devices.

“Synchronizer” – the ability to run the same actions on multiple accounts, now only available on Windows and supports synchronization with SunBrowser. There are delayed clicks, delayed typing (action simulation), Type as human, intended text, and others.

“Affiliate” – terms of work with AdsPower under the affiliate program.

“RPA” (Robotic process automation) – create/delete process, share, run automation (1 robotic step costs 1 point), shop with ready-made templates. Robotic process automation allows you to simulate keyboard actions (Backspace, Tab, Enter, Spacebar) and perform web actions (open / refresh / close tab, take a screenshot, run JavaScript in the current window / frame, and so on.

“API” – access to work with Selenium and Puppeteer. The documentation for working with the Local API is available in English only. On GitHub, the developers have posted code samples in JavaScript and Python.

“Payments” – replenish methods, details, limits, the validity of tariff plans, and so on.

“Settings” – members, action log, global settings.

Overall impression – AdsPower provides much more features compared to other antidetect browsers.

How to create your first account

We have analyzed AdsPower’s settings and menus. Now let’s take a look at how it creates profiles and what can be automated here.

Step-by-step instructions on how to create a browser profile on AdsPower:

Click on “New Profile” in the top left corner. We see a form that is already partially filled with the data.

Specify a name (Ads Power offers to enter the nickname of the platform), group (if there is one, you can create it beforehand), and tags (tags for quick navigation).

Check the settings (the system automatically pulls up the browser, operating system version, and other parameters). It is usually recommended to do so in order not to change the values given by the system.

Click “OK” and see that the created profile is displayed on the “Profiles” page. The user sees the ID (serial number), group, name, login/password, notes, and the ability to launch by clicking on “Open”.

The first browser profile is created! Ads Power allows you to do everything in 2-3 clicks.

Note that the antidetect browser offers such options:

  • Batch Import;
  • Single import;
  • Quick Import.

Let’s open the settings and see what fingerprints are created, what’s being swapped, and how it works in general.

AdsPower Browser Profiles

Editing a profile is done through the settings menu and “Edit Browser Footprint” button.

The “Browser Footprints” window appears and displays the characteristics.

Let’s go through the basics and see what the browser fingerprints are based on:

  • browser – SunBrowser (Chrome 119 kernel – at the time of writing, this is the most current new one);
  • system – Windows, MacOS, Linux, iOS, Android;
  • User Agent – loaded automatically may look like Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10_15_7) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/119.0.6045.106 Safari/537.36;
  • time zone – based on the IP address;
  • WebRTC – disabled (default), swap, current IP address;
  • geolocation – request (default), allow, block, based on the IP address;
  • language – based on the IP address;
  • screen resolution – default
  • fonts – default but can be customized (almost 700 from the list);
  • Canvas – noise;
  • WebGL Image – noise;
  • WebGL Metadata – customize (Unmasked Vendor – Google Inc. (Intel Inc.), Unmasked Renderer – ANGLE (Intel, Intel(R) Iris(TM) Plus Graphics 640, OpenGL 4.1);
  • AudioContext – noise;
  • Media Devices – noise;
  • ClientRects – noise;
  • SpeechVoices – noise;
  • Hardware concurrency – 16;
  • device memory – 8;
  • device name – assigned automatically;
  • MAC-address – specified automatically;
  • Do Not Track – default;
  • Flash – disabled;
  • port scanning protection – enable;
  • hardware acceleration – by default.

Working with proxies on AdsPower

Go to the “Proxy” tab and click “Add Proxy”.

On the new page, you need to specify information about the proxy and check it. The “Proxy Configuration” tab displays a list of partners from whom you can buy the required number.

When checking, you should specify the type, host, port, login and password, outgoing IP address, IP checker etc.. You can copy several proxies in a list: the system will check them all in turn. Note that there are requirements for the formats (to the left of the form).

Choose a profile and click “Change proxy” in the settings.

In a new window you will be asked to specify the type of proxy (choose from a drop-down list), check the network (if necessary), and specify the IP checker.

Click “OK” and confirm the change of the browser profile proxy. It is recommended to check whether the connection test is passed.

Launch a browser profile on AdsPower

Profiles have been created and configured. Let’s try to launch them. And here we face the first problem: “The current client does not have SunBrowser 119 core, you need to download it separately”. The profile won’t be launched because we need an update.

We click “Download immediately” and wait for the process to complete.

Unfortunately, this will always be the case because of Chromium updates. So you’ll have to go to “Local Settings” and customize AdsPower settings.

But this is not even the problem: you can download and install the core in 10 minutes. The nuance is that the function of mass update of profiles is unavailable. You have to update each one manually. If a team has 100-200 pieces, this is time-consuming.

Does the AdsPower antidetect browser perform masking well?

After the first launch, it automatically opens a page with links to digital fingerprint verification services.

But let’s go further and take a couple of options from the article 20 anonymity checking services.

Let’s go to whoer.net. The first service – and already there are questions. We are shown that everything is good (no proxy detected, no anonymizer detected, etc.), but there are some remarks.

Let’s see what whoer.net doesn’t like:

The service has recognized that we have different languages and the “Do not track” option is disabled. Note: these are the settings that we have not changed. Browser profile settings on AdsPower:

iphey.com has no questions on all parameters, and the checkers are green:

Let’s go further and try PixelScan. It suspects the use of a proxy. Traditionally, in such cases, it is recommended to change the proxy.

But the results that f.vision shows are much more interesting. The service says that we have problems at the WebRTC level. And it’s really interesting because WebRTC refers to those parameters that we haven’t changed.

The format when WebRTC is “Disabled” by default looks interesting. For example, we have done a review on Gologin where this value has been “Altered”. Vision has “Auto.” Once again we have checked AdsPower settings and decided to contact tech support to see what could be the reason.

AdsPower technical support has also sent us a question:

When we’ve asked how to perform better, we’ve received FAQ information and a valuable advice: “Choose what works best”.

Let’s take a look at the results from what privacy.net. It allows you to do checks on several parameters.

Basic Info

There are no questions on IP, geo, or operating system, but there are nuances with the battery. This parameter is not spoofed not only in AdsPower but also in other antidetect browsers.

Browser Capability Test shows the characteristics of the browser.

Fingerprint analysis looks like this:

The amiunique.org service believes that we are unique.

The same opinion has leaksradar.com:

In general, tests should be treated with caution, as we have told you about in other reviews of antidetect browsers.

Teamwork tools on AdsPower

To add a group of members, click on “Members” on the left side. In the new form, you need to specify the name and description of the team, as well as access rights. It’s easy to set and change the parameters: just tick the checkboxes.

After creating a group, open it and click “Users -> Add User”.

Next, we need to fill in the table with the data:

  • name;
  • email address;
  • password;
  • role (user, administrator, manager);
  • opportunity of having group authorization;
  • import limit (don’t forget that the antidetect browser has daily limits on all tariff plans) and other parameters.

After clicking on the confirmation button, the user will be added. What he can do is listed in the “Available functions” tab.

In the activity log you can see logins, IPs, profiles, groups, proxies, processes, and others.

Account settings on AdsPower

If you click on the account icon, a drop-down menu with settings will appear. You can choose light / dark themes, language from the list, etc. The maximum number of features and settings the customer will find in the “Global Settings” menu. They are:

  • Account Security;
  • Export settings;
  • Account Platform;
  • Authorisation Mode;
  • Proxy auto-configuration;
  • Ip-checker;
  • Time zone and geolocation;
  • Multi device mode;
  • Browser Customization;
  • Customize profile icon;
  • Site Management;
  • Bookmarks;
  • Google API;
  • Web page translation.

Advantages and disadvantages of AdsPower

Pros:

  • The knowledge base in Russian and videos with instructions on YouTube;
  • Flower Browser (Firefox) and Sun Browser (Chromium);
  • Local API and RPA (you can not only use cookie walker but also do many other things);
  • Internal currency accrual (points);
  • Profile recycle bin (7 days only);
  • Facebook Auto automation (paid).

Cons:

  • Synchronizer is only available on Windows and Sun Browser (Chromium);
  • RPA is paid, i.e. it becomes something like an additional hidden payment (points are used as internal currency) + there are other paid options;
  • Spoofing of iOS, and Android mobile devices have nuances;
  • Lack of mass profile update function;
  • Limits on paid plans for opening and importing;
  • No cloning (duplication) of profiles;
  • Human Type can be spoilt (but this is not only a problem of this antidetect browser);
  • Extra charges on paid plans.

There are nuances:

  • Numbering (you have to use 001-099 to avoid messing);
  • Appearance of the robot operation at the end of the list in case of duplication (it is more logical if it will be under the operation that was cloned);
  • Checkboxes on profiles can be reset when closed profiles are synchronized
  • Parameters are difficult (and sometimes impossible) to change in batch, so you have to work with each profile separately;
  • Debugging of robots is not very convenient (every time you have to start the process again, and it would be faster to continue where you stopped last time).

In general, the browser is many times more functional than the analogs on the market. But it has its disadvantages, which should be taken into account both by a beginner and a professional user.

AdsPower technical support

In the online chat room, automation has been introduced, so after a request, there is a risk to meet an auto-responder bot. You can then transfer to the AdsPower operator. They answer standard questions some of which are covered by the knowledge base quite quickly – within 2-3 minutes.

There is no hotline phone. Ways to contact AdsPower consultants:
