The mobile web has outrun the fixed Internet globally. Mobile carriers are now the major ISPs. Hundreds of thousands of people register on social media through the regular mobile web every day. DIY scenario
To build a pool of mobile proxies, you’ll need special skills and equipment, which will cost you around 25-30 thousand rubles. How to bring up mobile proxies?
Required equipment
To bring up DIY mobile IPv4 proxies, you will require:
- Mikrotik router. For example, 1 pc. of Mikrotik RB2011UiAS-2HnD-IN (you can use a cheaper version, for example, Mikrotik RB951Ui-2nD)
- TP-LINK TL-MR3020 router – 8/24 pcs. (one mobile proxy per 4G modem)
- Huawei E3372h 4G modem (one mobile proxy per 4G modem)
- Windows PC (a laptop will work just as well)
- TP wire, 2 pcs.
- A 24-port TP-LINK Desktop Switch TL-SF1024M if you plan to bring up to 24 mob proxies. You can as well use an 8-port TP-LINK TL-SF1008D.
- A static IP from the ISP (if you need Internet access to the proxy)
Equipment prices:
- Mikrotik RB951Ui-2nD 1pc – 3,000 rub
- TP-LINK TL-MR3020 – 1,300 rub
- Huawei E3372h 4G modem – 2,500 rub (you can as well find it on Avito for 1,600 rubs from 10 pcs)
Assuming you have an 8-port switch (the number of LAN ports on the switch), you’ll get 8 mobile proxies with minimal investment. You can use a 24-port switch or more if you want to bring up more than 8 mobile proxies.

To use your proxy farm anywhere, you need a static IP. Although if you plan to use a proxy locally, then you do not need a static IP, as a dynamic IP will do just as well.
One dynamic modem can easily hold up to 30-100 Instagram/Facebook accounts. It depends on the region. IPs from densely populated regions will hold more accounts.
For example, a simple Windows 10 laptop will do for 10 mobile proxies, but for, say, 50 proxies, you will need a high-capacity CPU.
