Step-by-step instructions on how to launch ads in Ton account of Telegram Ads using an external link.
To drive traffic to an external link in the Ton account of Telegram Ads you need to run traffic on Telegram Mini Apps, adding the desired external link into it. Below there is an instruction on how to create Telegram Mini Apps. From the tools, you need only the official @BotFather bot and the advertised site.
Create a Telegram bot
- Open @BotFather in Telegram and start a chat with it.
- Type the command
/newbot. - Add a name for your bot, for example: CPARIP.
- Add a unique username for your bot, for example: @cparipsitebot.
- BotFather will send you a token for your bot. Save this token, you will need it to customize your bot in the future.
Create Telegram Mini Apps
- Enter the
/newappcommand in a chat with @BotFather. - Select the bot for which you are creating a Mini App. In our case it is: @cparipsitebot.
- Enter the name of your app. For example: “CPARIP”.
- Enter a short description for your app.
- Attach an image (you can upload a picture).
- BotFather will prompt you to specify a GIF, but the optional step can be skipped.
- Enter an external link that will be opened when you follow, for example, https://cpa.rip.
- Choose a short name for your web application. For example: “myapp”.
- The application will be available via the link: https://t.me/cparipsitebot/myapp
Enter the received link in the Ton account of Telegram Ads and start advertising.
