On the 31st of March 2023, the Telegram team announced the appearance of monetization for channel administrators and the opportunity to place Toncoin-based ads. In addition, there is a new great update for Telegram Business.
TON-based Telegram ads
There appeared the opportunity to place ads on Telegram with payment in Toncoin. The minimum replenishment amount is 20 TON.
At the moment, TON-based adverts are not displayed for users from several countries, including Russia, Ukraine, Palestine, Israel, and Germany.
Telegram channels monetization

New Telegram features for business
Every user can turn the account into a Telegram business account using special business features.
At the moment, business features are available with a Premium subscription.
Chat links
For the convenience of customers, you can create chat links with your business account that can be placed on Telegram, and different websites in the form of buttons or QR codes offline.
By following this link users see the chat with the customized text in the message input field.

The owner of a business account can set the design of an empty chat with a sticker and his text.
Chatbots for business
Bots are available for business users to help automate work by analyzing messages and responding to them. You can choose the chats to which the bot has access.

Automated welcome messages with predefined content that are sent to first-time users who contact you.
“Out of office”
You can enable automatic messages that you are not present when someone contacts you outside of office hours.
