A funny funnel of Telegram advertising for iGaming offers disguised as a giveaway of in-game bonuses for Brawl Stars. We found it via TelegramAds.com, let’s take a closer look at the funnel.
The ad creative uses the game’s visual style and promises users five UltraBoxes and up to 100 spins.

After clicking the “Go to channel” button, the user is taken to a public Telegram channel called Star Br
awl. It’s styled to look like Brawl Stars — the name, avatar, and posts all feature game elements — and the pinned message promises a new QR code for five boxes.

The posts create a sense of a limited-time offer. Users are told that the number of activations is running out and are urged to follow the link immediately: mostly to a private channel, and sometimes a link to a landing page with casino registration. More or less the same messages get reposted every few days, with slight tweaks to the text and design.

The link from the posts leads to a backup channel called BrawlBon. It’s also styled to look like Brawl Stars, but to join you need to submit a request and wait for approval. In our case, the request was approved after about a day.

After joining, the user keeps getting warmed up with messages about bonuses and is then redirected to an external casino website with a landing page for registration:

The funnel looks like this:

This scheme isn’t rare — there are other ads using the UltraBox angle as well.
