Kazakh blogger Kaisar Kamza was spotted in handcuffs and under escort at Cam Ranh Airport in Vietnam. Judging by photos that surfaced online, he is being extradited to his home country. Officials have not yet confirmed the blogger’s transfer to Kazakhstan.

Kamza had been on an international wanted list since January 2026. The search was initiated by Kazakhstan’s Financial Monitoring Agency. In April, the Ministry of Internal Affairs reported that the blogger had been detained in Vietnam through Interpol channels in cooperation with local law enforcement.

In early May, Kamza posted an Instagram story claiming he had not been arrested and that his passport had allegedly been taken by the local migration service. Later, Kazakhstan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs confirmed that Kamza had been detained and was in Vietnam, and that the Prosecutor General’s Office was handling his extradition.

Kamza is suspected of aiding illegal gambling activity. According to the Financial Monitoring Agency, the blogger advertised an online casino through Instagram, where he has around 2.4 million followers, and a private Telegram channel with an audience of 368,000 people.

In his posts, Kamza shared links to the site, urged users to sign up and play, and distributed a personal promo code with bonuses. According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the blogger earned illegal income of more than 100 million tenge from this activity. The money was transferred to a cryptocurrency wallet registered in his name.

Kamza’s crypto assets, amounting to 182.7 thousand USDT, have been seized. The blogger had previously been held administratively liable for promoting online casinos and running illegal giveaways. In one instance, he was fined 1.17 million tenge.
