We tested the Gamler.io spy service in practice: we evaluated ad creative search and analysis, pricing plans, ad saving, and free tools.
Gamler.io is a specialized spy service for Gambling and Betting advertising on Facebook. Its database includes ads from more than 100 geos, with new creatives added daily. The service helps you find competitors’ ads by geo, slot name, keywords, ad page, domain, app, and other parameters. You can save the creatives you find, compare them, and analyze their launch history, relaunches, reach, and run duration.

CPA.RIP’s take: Based on our test, Gamler.io delivered relevant Gambling creative search and a convenient toolkit for analyzing them. There are no specialized filters for Betting. The service also offers free tools, including a uniquifier that effectively changes a file’s technical parameters but barely changes its visual appearance.

Creative Search
Basic filters for a quick start are located at the top of the page. Despite the tool’s focus on the Gambling and Betting verticals, you can find creatives from other niches in the general database (the “ALL” mode). If you switch to the Gambling or Betting tabs, the results are strictly narrowed down to the respective vertical.

To demonstrate the search capabilities, we selected Brazil as the geo, switched the category to Gambling, and searched for the Aviator slot over the past week. The service generated results with current creatives.

To test the specialized Gambling filter for software developers and game types, we selected the Slots mechanic. The results were mostly relevant, although a few unrelated mechanics also appeared.

Along with the specialized functionality, you also get access to standard filters:
- Ad: select the creative format, text language, ad page, and placements (Facebook, Instagram, Messenger, WhatsApp, Audience Network, Oculus and Threads).

- Sourse: search by app name or ID, domain, landing page IP address, domain zone, and a substring in the URL.

- App & activity : filter by app stores and run duration.

- Ad statistics: search by traffic volume, impression range, number of relaunches, and demographics (gender, age). Some advanced statistical data is available only for ads from EU countries.

As for the Betting vertical, there are no specialized filters here, so all work is based on the standard toolkit. To test search in this niche, we entered the keyword query 1xbet. The search engine processed the input correctly and returned a selection of ad materials for the target brand.

Ad Analysis
When you click a creative in the feed, a detailed ad card opens. The left side contains the media content itself (an image or video), text, and a link to the landing page/offer.
The right section of the card is dedicated entirely to analytics and technical data. You can access:
- performance metrics: peak reach, number of reuploads, days active, status, and campaign dates;
- targeting parameters: geo and audience characteristics;
- technical information: ad network, domain, IP address, and Page ID

The card also lets you switch to the “Similar ads” tab to review similar advertising from the same advertiser

You can save an ad using the Save to Folder button.

If you do not yet have a suitable collection, the service will prompt you to immediately name a new folder.

You can share a folder with your team or make it public via a link without requiring authorization.

Creative Uniquifier
The creative uniquifier is designed for technical and visual processing of source files. The tool removes metadata (EXIF), changes the file hash, and makes imperceptible adjustments to brightness, contrast, and saturation. It supports JPG and PNG image uploads up to 20 MB (a basic limit of 10 generations per day applies).

To evaluate the processing effectiveness, we took a creative from the spy service database. We compared the original and uniquified files through EXIFTool Online, then analyzed the metadata differences using Gemini 3.1 Pro.
Below is a detailed breakdown of the changes before and after processing.
Parameter | Original file | After the service |
|
Format / MIME | PNG (image/png) (despite the .jpg extension) | JPEG (image/jpeg) | Container changed. The service corrected the file header. |
Signature (Magic Bytes) | 89 50 4E 47… (PNG) | FF D8 FF E0… (JPEG/JFIF) | Complete change to the file’s byte structure. |
File size | ~1.38 MB | ~334.96 KB | The size decreased by ~76% due to switching to JPEG compression. |
Hashes (MD5 / SHA-256) | ab96dc79… / 814426c5… | e0f6c3db… / e4d93ece… | The hashes changed completely. The basic MD5/SHA duplicate check was passed. |
Color profile | RGB with alpha channel (PNG) | ICC Profile (Google sRGB, 2016) | An embedded standard Google sRGB metadata profile was added. |
EXIF / Metadata | Minimal (7 IHDR tags) | 22 tags (JFIF + ICC profile) | Basic JPEG metadata structures were added. |
What was done well:
- The MD5/SHA-256 hashes were changed, so the file appears new at the byte level.
- A PNG with a .jpg extension was correctly converted into a real JPEG.
- Service metadata was replaced with JFIF and ICC.
Main risk: Based on the data, the pixel content was barely changed. Therefore, pHash, aHash, and dHash may recognize the image as a visual duplicate. In addition, the standard Google Inc. 2016 ICC profile may recur across a large number of processed files. The creatives are visually indistinguishable.
Result:
- Technical uniquification: 10/10
- Visual uniquification: 3/10
The file is new in terms of structure and hashes, but it likely does not differ enough visually.
